Oris 110 years
Oris launched a high-performance in-house calibre for its 110th anniversary. Previously, Oris made 279 in-house calibres before 1981. The Quartz Crisis shifted the industry to third-party movements. Yet, Oris remains among the few with the capacity and ambition to create their own.
Another first from Oris
Calibre 110 marked Oris’s return to mechanical movement manufacturing after a 35-years hiatus. Hand-wound, 3 Hz, 21,600 vph, single barrel, 10-day power reserve, non-linear power reserve indicator, 177 parts, including 40 jewels, bridge edges polished and bevelled by hand, 34 mm diameter.
